Q: What medical services are offered at Atlas Medical Clinic?
A: We provide comprehensive family medicine, walk-in medical care, physical exams, chronic disease management, immunizations, travel medicine, referrals, medication assessments and more.
Q: Are you a walk-in clinic? Do I need to book an appointment?
A: Yes, we are a walk-in clinic, and no appointment is needed subject to availability. You can visit us anytime during our business hours. We provide general walk-in medical care and services to all patients (with OHIP and without OHIP). Patients without a health card (no OHIP coverage) can see a doctor on a fee for service basis. We also accept UHIP and MORCARE.
Q: Where are you located and which areas do you serve?
A: Atlas Medical Clinic is located at 1383 16th Avenue in Richmond Hill. We are at the corner of Leslie & 16th Avenue (next to McDonald’s) near Hwy 404 with free plaza parking. We serve all areas across the GTA. Many patients visit us from Richmond Hill, Markham, Thornhill, Vaughan, North York, Toronto, Stouffville, Ballantrae, Aurora, Newmarket, East Gwillimbury, King, Uxbridge, Georgina, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Mississauga and Bradford.
Q: What are your hours and are you open on evenings and weekends?
A: Yes, we are open all 7 days of the week with late evening hours till 8:00 PM on most weekdays. Our current schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 8 PM, Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Q: Do you see children and adults at your walk-in clinic?
A: Yes, Atlas Medical Clinic provides walk-in medical care for both children and adults for non-emergency concerns. If you have a medical emergency (e.g., severe breathing trouble, chest pain, or serious injury), please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Q: Can I schedule a same-day appointment?
A: Patients are welcome to walk in without an appointment as no appointment is needed but can optionally book a same day appointment by calling 905-918-3560, subject to availability.
Q: Is there a Pharmacy on-site?
A: Yes, Atlas Pharmacy is located on-site, providing convenient prescription and OTC medication services to our patients right after their appointment.
Q: Do you see patients without a Health Card (not covered by OHIP)?
A: Yes, in addition to providing general walk-in medical care and services to patients with OHIP coverage, we also provide walk-in care and services to patients who do not have an Ontario Health Card (no OHIP coverage) on a fee for service basis. We accept debit, credit (Visa/Mastercard/AmEx), Interac, and cash as payment.
Q: Do you accept UHIP and MORCARE insurance for students?
A: Yes, we accept UHIP (University Health Insurance Plan) and MORCARE insurance from students and international students.
Q: Do you provide travel consultations and vaccines?
A: Yes, we provide travel consultations and vaccinations tailored to your itinerary. For travel consultations specifically, please call or email the clinic in advance to schedule a consultation.
